Concussion

There is an array of symptoms and a spectrum of severity of concussion: symptoms include but are not limited to sensitivity to light or sound, irritability, disrupted sleep or appetite, headaches, memory loss, brain fog, nausea, and difficulty concentrating.

Based on the forces required to cause a concussion, there will be a concurrent whiplash injury (but not all whiplash injuries have concussion). Treating the strain/sprain spinal injuries will allow the underlying causes of the symptoms to become clearer, and comanaging and collaborating with practitioners in different disciplines when treating concussion is encouraged.
